Hadassah members support  Annual Turkey Trot

Hadassah members and family supporters came out in the chilly weather to support Hadassah's efforts with women's heart health.

On Sunday morning, Nov. 14, Hadassah Richmond members braved the cold for the annual Turkey Trot.

Robin Jackson with children, Matt and Shields Jackson and grandchildren Grey, Judah and Reed, take a nice Sunday trot to benefit Hadassah.

The cool day made for brisk walking and lots of conversation. The goal of the Turkey Trot is to celebrate heart health!

Hadassah chapters in the Super South Region were encouraged to run, walk or trot in November to support pioneering research at Hadassah Medical Organization.

Heart disease and stroke are the cause of 1/3 of all women’s deaths and 82% of heart disease is preventable!

The walk was to educate and support Hadassah’s pace-setting efforts in heart disease research and treatment, focusing on its effects on women.
