JCFR’s Real Estate Speaker Series will launch with All About Apartments on May 17

John Levy, president, John B. Levy and Company, Inc., will moderate a discussion with a panel that will include Max Comess, partner, Levco; Sarah Krumbein, president, Hampshire Properties; and, Nathan Shor, senior vice president, regional director, partner, S.L. Nusbaum.

All About Apartments, the first topic of the three-part series, hosted by the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond, will cover the current state of the multi-family real estate development market.

John Levy

John Levy is a well-known commentator and analyst on commercial real estate financing trends. For more than 20 years, he was the originator and author of the Barron’s/John B. Levy & Company National Mortgage Survey.

A seasoned speaker, Mr. Levy has presented nationwide to major real estate associations and key industry groups.

Max Comess

Max Comess, as managing partner of Levco, is focused on Levco’s growth through strategic acquisitions and dispositions, capital raising, investor relations, and asset management.  Prior to co-founding Levco, Max was a managing director at a global commercial real estate investment advisory and capital markets firm, HFF, in Miami.

Sarah Krumbein started her career in 2005, selling and renting real estate in Brooklyn.  She

has experience in construction estimating and project management and was chief operating officer at Fulton Hill Properties.  Sarah owns Hampshire Properties and specializes in real estate development, historic tax-credit development and special projects.

Nathan Shor

 Nathan Shor has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1982.  He has experience in all aspects of commercial real estate from development and leasing to management, sales, and finance.  Nathan has been involved in developing over 1 million square feet of retail projects as well as the sale of over 50 income-producing properties.
