The purpose of this event is to support and welcome everyone from the disability and mental health communities and their loved ones to one of Richmond’s biggest venues to enjoy America’s pastime and experience a baseball game together in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Unique highlights will include increased wheelchair accessible seating, a full sensory zone and quiet space, kids field activities, lower speaker volume, services for those who are deaf or blind, a free giveaway.
New for your year, the National Anthem will be sung by American Idol finalist, Shayy Winn who is from Richmond and has disabilities.
“Thanks so much for this day! We had a super time! We appreciate all of the work of the organization, its members, & volunteers who made this day so special,” said Prince George County Special Olympics.
