April gave us a wonderful Passover “second night Sedar” (photo above) but the lazy days of summer are approaching, and so we have a few activities supplementing our normal schedule:
- Thursday night Torah study on Zoom,
- Friday night services, both in person and on Zoom
- Both children’s and adult services on select Saturday mornings, and innovative Hebrew lessons at area businesses and meeting places.
Our most frequent summer activities (other than the above) are the Men’s Club-sponsored “picnics with prayers.” Our picnics feature food, music, games with a little prayer in area parks – most commonly in Chester.
This year, we will augment these with making crafts to get a head start on making Fall holiday decorations (i.e., for Sukot and Hanukkah).
