Since October 7, admittances to Hadassah Hospital’s emergency room for anxiety and trauma have skyrocketed. Together Hadassah supporters are about delivering hope to Hadassah’s youngest, most vulnerable patients and their parents.
The Elinor Bloom Marshall Humanitarian Award (EBMHA), which this year is honoring Claudia Biegler, is directing funds raised to The Herman Dana Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Hadassah Hospital.
The commitment of the EBMHA sponsors and supporters is essential to keep Israel’s children mentally and emotionally healthy so they can thrive in times of crisis and every day. Funding to support the Herman Dana Division is critical to provide services in treatment, teaching and training and critical research in child and adolescent mental health. Your support will help make these vulnerable children receive everything they need to thrive!
Hadassah HEALS
Since 1912, Hadassah, a philanthropic organization, has been helping women find their voices to advance health equity, and heal the sick with world-class medical innovation.
Thanks to the medical system Hadassah helped create in Israel, new treatments and scientific breakthroughs are saving lives around the world.
Supported by generous donors, the Hadassah Medical Organization’s two Jerusalem hospitals are global leaders in medical care serving more than a million patients a year, regardless of religion, race or nationality.
The Herman Dana Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Hadassah is internationally recognized for outstanding services in treatment, teaching and training, and critical research in child and adolescent mental health.
Please consider a sponsor level gift to help Hadassah Richmond reach their fundraising goal for the event on October 27.
From FRIENDS at $1,000 to HEALERS at $10,000+, sponsorships for the Elinor Bloom Marshall Humanitarian Award will directly benefit the mental health of youth in Israel.
All donors contributing $1,000 and above will receive tickets to the event and other perks and will be invited to a special pre-event function in appreciation!
Our guest speaker at that pre-event will be Dr. Joseph Laver, who does joint research with Hadassah Medical Organization in Israel. Dr. Laver is currently serving in the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Department at VCU’s Children’s Hospital. He came to VCU from Hadassah Hospital.
