Kehillah Cares
BIG NEWS: In a groundbreaking move in community care and interfaith partnership, we have partnered with Health Brigade, Virginia’s venerable free and charitable clinic, to provide integrated health services to Richmond’s vulnerable Jewish population.
“We’re excited about this new partnership with Kehillah to serve those in their congregation in need of our services,” says Karen Legato, Executive Director of Health Brigade. “Our shared commitment of caring for diverse people of all walks of life is the foundation of this partnership. We believe this opportunity will open up new ways for faith-based organizations to collaborate with non-profit community health organizations like Health Brigade.”
From initial assessment to ongoing treatment, the collaboration between the two organizations promises personalized care pathways designed to address the unique bio-psycho-social needs of each client. Whether it’s ongoing case management, short-term mental health counseling, or referrals, the partnership ensures a continuum of care that prioritizes individual well-being.
Care is one hundred percent subsidized by Kehillah, which raises funds for the partnership through individual private donations. “The people you sit with at Shabbat and holidays are the ones caring for you—and yet, no one seeks recognition or praise for giving,” says Rabbi Patrick Beaulier, co-spiritual leader of Kehillah. “At Kehillah, you matter, and that’s all that matters to us.”
Are you a Kehillah member in need of care? Through our partnerships, we provide:
- Subsidized Services:
- Therapy & Counseling
- Music Therapy
- Parent Coaching
- Free Services:
- Financial Advising
- Scholarship Advising
- Pastoral Care
- . . . and more!
