Temple Beth-El families participate in Partnership2Gether Israeli Teen Program
Alica and Brian Shapiro and their children Alex and Lia, along with Ramona Brand and Harlan Loebman, were among Richmond hosts welcoming six Israeli teens and their two adult chaperones from July 14-July 21. (See photo below)
Sponsored by the Richmond Jewish Community Federation of Richmond, Partnership2gether has been an important component of creating people-to-people relationships between Hadera in Israel, Richmond and several other “sister cities” in the Southeast region.
This is a wonderful way to foster new friendships and build understanding and community! The Shapiro family welcomed Adi Yishai and the Brand Loebman family welcomed Yael Ben Natan and Shira Neufeld.
The teens had a jam-packed week with many activities and community involvement, but there was time for the host families to enjoy getting to know our teen guests, have meals together, engage on a personal level and give them a little taste of American homelife.
Partnership2gether is an exciting week of the summer and the bonds created last far into the future.
