Friendship Circle of Virginia, in partnership with Jacob’s Chance and Sportable, is set to host an inclusive sporting event designed for individuals of all abilities. The All Abilities Sports Day aims to bring together community members for a day of sports, friendship, and fun!

Open to individuals ages 5 to 25, the event will pair attendees one-on-one with teen friends (volunteers) from the community, fostering a supportive and engaging environment. Participants will have the chance to explore and try various adaptive sports, guided by the expertise of Jacob’s Chance and Sportable.

In addition to sports, attendees can look forward to enjoying snacks, crafts, and a sensory area, all provided by Friendship Circle. This event promises a unique opportunity for individuals of all abilities to connect, participate in physical activities, and enjoy a day of community engagement.

Event Details:

  • Date: Sunday, August 25
  • Time: 2 – 4 p.m.
  • Location: Deep Run High School
