The Weinstein JCC is thrilled to announce the launch of its highly anticipated Arts + Ideas subscription series for the 2024-25 season, promising an enriching lineup of performances, speakers, and exhibits that celebrate Jewish-inspired arts and culture.

Season Highlights

Season Kick Off! On Tour with Nani Vazana – Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.

Ranked #11 on the World Music Charts, Israeli-Ladino folk singer and trombonist Nani Vazana brings her captivating melodies to the Weinstein JCC as part of her global tour.

Having graced prestigious venues such as The Kennedy Center and the Richmond Folk Festival, Vazana returns to Richmond for a commemorative concert marking the one-year anniversary of the October 7 attacks in Israel.

Comedy Night! Joel Chasnoff: I’m Not Your Zayde’s Jewish Comedian – Nov. 17 at 7 p.m.

American-Israeli Joel Chasnoff is a favorite in the Jewish world for over 20 years.

His comedy is clever, clean, and positive. No stereotypes, no tired Borscht-Belt cliches. Just hip, wholesome comedy about the joys and oys! of Jewish life. Joel has performed at more than 1,500 Jewish events in ten countries, from the Melbourne Comedy Festival in Australia to Israeli late-night TV.

Jewish Family Theatre! JFT presents Fiddler on the Roof: 15th Anniversary Production – Dec. 5-15

Celebrate tradition and resilience with a special production of “Fiddler on the Roof,” winner of nine Tony Awards. This timeless musical follows the trials and triumphs of Tevye the Dairyman and his family in a changing Russia, resonating with themes that remain poignant today. Presented in honor of Earl Ferguson, of blessed memory.

Adolf-Adams JCC Forum! An Evening with Michael Rapaport – May 1 at 7:30 p.m.
