Friendship Circle of Virginia (FCVA) is poised for an impactful year, with a series of events and initiatives designed to foster inclusion and support for individuals with disabilities, teen friends, and parents.
The kickoff event at Bowl America invites everyone to come and learn about the organization’s mission and activities.
Upcoming Events
Teen & Parent Orientation on Sept. 5: Returning and new Teen Friends and a parent will have the opportunity to learn more about what to expect from volunteering at Friendship Circle programs.
Kickoff at Bowl America Short Pump on Sept. 15: Join us as we roll into the program year!
Birthday Circles: Celebrate Birthdays with friends old and new! Have fun at exciting party locations around Richmond. No party is complete without cupcakes and a goodie bag!
Walk N Roll on Nov. 10 at Byrd Park: This walk is a celebration of community and support, bringing together people of all abilities to promote awareness and inclusion.
Disability and Adaptive Fashion Show on Dec. 8 at The Virginia Repertory Theater: Highlights adaptive clothing designed to meet diverse needs, promoting both style and accessibility.
Disability Expo on Jan. 12 at the Weinstein JCC: Featuring exhibitors aimed at empowering individuals with disabilities and their families. It’s an opportunity for the community to come together, learn, and find support.
Fundraiser on Feb. 25-26: Help Friendship Circle raise crucial funds to continue to provide free programming.
