In remembrance of the tragic attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, the Weinstein JCC, in collaboration with the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond, will host the photographic exhibit “Witness and Hope” in the Sara D. November Gallery from Sept. 19 to Oct. 24, 2024.
This powerful exhibit features images and testimonies from Richmond residents who visited Israel after the Oct. 7 attacks, either independently or through organized trips by the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond, Momentum, and JCC Global.
The curated photographs not only document the atrocities and their aftermath but also highlight the resilience and hope seen through the eyes of the artists.
Local artists Lisa Lezell Levine and Ed Tepper have curated the exhibit. An opening reception, where participants will share their reflections, is scheduled for 7 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 19. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
To assist with planning, kindly RSVP for the reception at weinsteinjcc.org.
