Yes, the Richmond Jewish Food Festival is returning, but at a different time and place. This year’s festival will be held on Sunday and Monday, Nov. 10-11 at Keneseth Beth Israel, 6300 Patterson Ave. in Richmond.
You’ll find the same great food, the same great music, and the same great volunteers that you’ve enjoyed for years. But this year you’ll also find more – more seating and longer hours – from noon to 9 p.m. both days!
Come enjoy the best of Ashkenazi (Eastern European) and Sefardi (Middle Eastern) dishes. We’ll be serving a large variety of Jewish foods, from shwarma and felafel to beef brisket and corned beef. Enjoy kugels, latkes, knishes, stuffed cabbage, cholent, and of course, matzah ball soup. You’ll find a large selection of baked goods, along with beer, wine, and soft drinks.
Local bands My Son, The Doctor and the Klezm’Or’Ami’m will be back again, playing the finest klezmer music in the Commonwealth. Admission, as always, is free, so bring your family and bring your friends, enjoy some fine kosher food and klezmer music, and stay as long as you like.
We hope to see you there!
