This year’s Global Day of Jewish Learning at the Weinstein JCC, organized by Limmud North America, focuses on the theme “One People,” emphasizing the unity and connections that bind Jews worldwide.
Considering the challenges faced since Oct. 7, 2023, including rising antisemitism and the complex and difficult discussions surrounding Israel in both public discourse and the media, this year’s theme of unity feels especially poignant.
The Jewish people, now more than ever, are called to reflect on what unites them rather than what divides them.
On Nov. 17, the community is invited to take part in a special day of learning, connection, and inspiration with local Rabbis and esteemed leaders.
This free event will begin at 12:30 p.m. with check-in and light refreshments, followed by the main program starting at 1 p.m.
The day will feature a powerful keynote address from Lone Soldier Roy Milstein, as well as insightful group discussions and breakout sessions led by Rabbis and distinguished speakers.
It’s a unique opportunity to come together, learn, and engage with the community.
The event promises to foster meaningful connections and understanding within the community. After the learning sessions, attendees are invited to a dinner at 5 p.m., generously provided by Pop’s Pizza for those who register in advance by Thursday, November 14.
