Kehillah Brings Hanukkah To Midlothian
Save the Date for our annual Hanukkah celebration, this year in Midlothian!
This year’s Hanukkah party is shaping up to be a wonderful evening for the whole community, and Kehillah is excited to invite everyone to join us. The celebration will be held at the Art Factory in Midlothian on Dec. 28, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Our annual program includes a live, bring-your-own menorah lighting ceremony, so feel free to bring yours from home and add to the light. We’ll also enjoy sufganiyot and festive beverages for purchase.
Kids will have plenty to do with special art activities just for them, and we’ve got a lot more fun lined up with dreidel and other Hanukkah surprises. There will also be our signature “free Judaica store” and a free Jewish bookstore on-site, perfect for picking up new treasures for your collection or gifts for family and friends.
Of course, there are plenty of other Kehillah activities to be excited about.
Kehillah recently launched a new adult education program led by lay leader Matt Childs called Spiritual School. Diving deep into Jewish text and practice, this monthly series in Church Hill has become a powerful new part of Kehillah’s commitment to inspire.
We have two Shabbat events this month: Shabbat Dinner and Service at the Rabbi’s (Dec 13) and Torah Study Brunch the following day. As with all events, make sure to RSVP on our calendar.
