Midlothian Hanukkah and Rabbi Patrick Featured on ABC News

Kehillah’s annual Hanukkah celebration took place this year in Midlothian and was a joyful gathering for the entire community.

Our party was featured on our local ABC news, where Rabbi Patrick explained what Hanukkah was all about, and encouraged families all over Richmond and Chesterfield to join the festivities.

Held at the Art Factory on Dec. 28, the event was a memorable evening of light, festivities, and togetherness. See below some photos

The evening featured a live, bring-your-own menorah lighting ceremony, creating a beautiful display of light and community spirit.

Attendees enjoyed sufganiyot and fes-tive beverages, while children delighted in special sticker art activities and other Hanukkah surprises.

Kehillah also hosted its popular “free Judaica store” and an additional free Jewish bookstore.

The celebration was one of many exciting Kehillah events this year.

The recently launched adult education program, Spiritual School, led by lay leader Matt Childs, has brought Jewish life to the growing Church Hill Jewish community.

This monthly series explores the intersection of mysticism, Jewish text and practice, adding a meaningful dimension to Kehillah’s mission to inspire.

We hope you’ll join us for Shabbat dinner and worship on the 10th, adult learning on the 14th and our monthly Torah Study on the 25th.
