On Friday, Dec. 27, we will have a special Chanukah Shabbat service for the third night of Chanukah. Bring your Menorah and four candles to light in the window at Or Ami.
Collaborative and Musical Shabbaton
Or Ami is participating in a special, collaborative and musical Shabbaton on Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7. Or Ami, Or Atid, and Beth Ahabah are joining forces this weekend to bring in the incredibly talented and spiritual Jewish musician, Yoel Sykes, from the band Nava Tehila to lead Shabbat services and a Havdalah concert.
There will be no Friday night services or Saturday morning Torah Study at Or Ami this weekend, as members of each congregation are encouraged to attend each event.
Or Ami will be hosting a Havdalah concert with Yoel Sykes on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This concert will begin with Havalah and end with a light dessert reception.
