The Weinstein JCC Preschool is excited to bring back its beloved annual Hamantaschen Fundraiser—now with a modernized and simplified online ordering process!

Building on the success of the recent Raise Craze campaign, which raised $30,000 for the Preschool’s Mitzvah Mania initiative, this year’s fundraiser is expected to be bigger, better, and more convenient than ever.

With the updated online ordering form, freshly baked Hamantaschen are just a few clicks away.

Accessible through weinsteinjcc.org/hamantaschen/, the new system provides instant order confirmations while ensuring the security and privacy of your credit card information—no more mailing checks or sharing credit card details.

Even better, when you order a dozen hamantaschen or more, you’ll receive automatic discounts. Pre-order prices are just $4 each or $40 per dozen—a savings of $8!

Don’t miss this opportunity to pre-order these sweet treats from Shalom Kosher of Silver Spring, Md,, at these specially discounted prices.

Orders can be placed at weinsteinjcc.org until midnight on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

All pre-orders will be available for pick-up at the Hamantaschen Café on March 6 from 3- 10 p.m., and March 7 from 5 a.m. – 6 p.m. Proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will go directly toward enhancing the Preschool’s certified outdoor nature play spaces, offering children exciting and sustainable opportunities for exploration and imaginative play.

Caroline Clark, Early Childhood administrative assistant, shares her enthusiasm: “Every year, we see our community light up at the chance to get these sweet treats for Purim celebrations. We’re so lucky to have a great team of Preschool parent volunteers working on this, led by Ali Moorehead. These new changes are going to make managing all of the orders much easier for our team and for the community to get their cookies!”

For those seeking last-minute treats, Hamantaschen will also be available for purchase at the Purim Carnival in the Richard A. Arenstein Lobby for $5 each.

Additionally, you can visit the Hamantaschen Café in the lobby from March 1-13, between 9 a.m. and 1p.m. Supplies will be limited, so be sure to act quickly!

Pre-orders are due by Tuesday, Feb. 18, so don’t wait. Join us in blending tradition with innovation and make this year’s fundraiser the sweetest one yet!
