Our journey through life can include a wide range of experiences that too often include illness or death. This pain is inevitable, but the unnecessary hardship – the kind that comes from lack of preparation – is avoidable. The difficulty of dealing with loss is made worse when families have not had an End-of-Life conversation.
We need to be responsible and take action to care for our lives and the lives of our family members — here and hereafter.
Richmond Beth-El Cemetery, the original cemetery, opened in 1936 continues to be maintained with the care that families expect for their loved ones. This area now totaling 6 acres offers traditional burials to all persons of the Jewish faith whether affiliated with a synagogue or not.
For over 88 years, Richmond Beth-El Cemetery Company, Inc. has been helping the Richmond Jewish community to make End-of-Life plans and to bury their loved ones with respect and dignity.
As we are all aware, costs everywhere are increasing. The Richmond Beth-El Cemetery Company has done its best to hold our costs down, but we anticipate that this will soon change.
Therefore, in planning for the future, please be aware that our costs will most likely be rising as well. If you feel that these concerns are important to you, please contact us to discuss your options.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss specific needs within Chesed Memorial Park or the Richmond Beth-El Cemetery, please reach out to the Richmond Beth-El Cemetery Administrator at RBCC.Director@gmail.com.
