Camps Airy & Louise have celebrated over 100 summers of FUN! We’re the only brother-sister Jewish overnight camps in the country. Located in the mountains of Western Maryland, we provide activities ranging from the classics (Swimming, Sports, Arts & Crafts) to the out-of-this world (Parkour, Extreme Sports & Outdoor Adventure).
Built upon 100+ years of experience and tradition, Camps Airy & Louise provides Jewish children with a fun, creative and adventurous summer experience that promotes self-growth, leadership, and a positive sense of Jewish identity – all while making friendships that last a lifetime. We welcome campers and families of all practices (including interfaith families) to share their summers with us.
Younger campers receive a daily schedule that offers a lot of variety so that they can try new pursuits and acquire new skills. As children progress in age, they gain a greater say in what they do during their time at camp. This way, older children can dedicate more time to specific talents and those fields which they most wish to improve and enjoy.
Without the distractions of screens, and surrounded by strong role models, campers at Airy & Louise can be adventurous, be active, be creative, and most importantly be themselves.
Our campers get more than a summer of fun…we help our campers grow, build new friendships who become friends for life, become more independent and resilient, take positive risks, and learn about the kind of person they want to become.
