The Or Ami Book Club will meet on March 3 to read Dara Horn’s “Eternal Life.” For our April meeting, on April 7, we will read Margalit Fox’s “The Talented Mrs. Mandelbaum.”
Community Game Night and Breakfast for Dinner is planned for Saturday, March 1. We will start this event at 6 p.m. with a Havdalah ritual to mark the end of Shabbat and then enjoy a delicious breakfast for dinner (pancakes, eggs, fruit, etc.) while playing our favorite board games together. This event is a fundraiser for our Religious School scholarship fund and will be $10 per person or $30 per family.

Or Ami Congregation celebrated Tu Bishvat, New Year of the Trees, with over 65 members attending our Tu Bishvat Seder on Sunday Feb. 9.
Many families who attended enjoyed the Seder in celebration of trees and the fruits they bear. Each Sunday School class sang songs celebrating Tu Bishvat and the importance of trees. We learned the meanings of the fruits and wine/grape juice we enjoyed. Fun was had by all!! See photos at the top and below.
