Kehillah Collaboration Expands Kosher Options In Richmond; Passover Seders
Just in time for Passover, Hiddr Meats VA has collaborated with Kehillah to finally make sustainable kosher, grass fed & finished, meat available to Richmond’s Jewish community.
Hiddr Meats VA’s Charlottesville farm will offer the highest quality, grass fed & finished, Star K certified kosher meat at the greatest value possible through a distribution relationship with Kehillah.
In order to support community purchasing power, meat is sold in family size packs, and can be picked up from the congregation in Midlothian.
Kehillah’s Rabbi Patrick Beaulier said, “we’re thrilled to build this partnership with Hiddr Meats VA, making Richmond a hub for kosher meat and serving the often neglected Jewish consumer. It’s not only a mitzvah, but it’s a way to create a bridge between the kosher market and those who may not normally keep kosher. It’s a historic win-win for Richmond’s Jewish community.”

And speaking of Passover, Kehillah will be offering two Pesach seders featuring meat from Hiddr Meats VA!
Both seders will be held in private homes in Midlothian, as part of Kehillah’s effort to grow the suburban Jewish community.
These intimate gatherings offer an alternative to large community seders, providing individuals and families with a Jewish home for the holiday.
In addition, Kehillah will be offering its unique Passover Brunch the morning of Passover.
With a quirky nod to Richmond’s love of brunch, Passover Brunch is a learning and community building opportunity for those who need to decompress from the previous night’s seder, while engaging with Jewish community in a different way.
