May 6: “Choice, Human Behavior and the Holocaust” Workshop
This full-day educator workshop at the Museum explores how ordinary people became complicit in the Holocaust and what shaped their decisions. Learn how to teach students about personal responsibility and decision-making during times of injustice.
Special guest speaker: Dr. Kerrie Taber, author of “Quarantining Hate,” will share her personal journey and insights into addressing the growing threats of hatred.
Her grandfather was a WWII war criminal responsible for the deaths of 14,000 Lithuanian Jews—an experience that has deeply influenced her work.
May 15: “Educators Challenging Antisemitism” Workshop
Rescheduled from February due to inclement weather, this workshop is presented in partnership with the Anti-Defamation League.
It will focus on recognizing antisemitism and how to effectively respond to it in school environments, promoting a safe and inclusive climate for all students.
