Words and Dreams is the title of the new art exhibit that will be on display in the Sara D. November Gallery through Nov. 18.
The exhibit will show the work of painter, Jennifer Anne Moses, who describes herself as “a painter in the Outsider tradition, where I fuse Hebrew prayer with a distinctly Southern sensibility, born of the many years I lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.”
Both a painter and a writer, Moses, is scheduled to discuss her recent book, a collection of short stories entitled, The Man Who Loved His Wife, on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. as part of the Fife-Davis Family Annual Jewish Book Club event co-hosted by the Jewish Woman’s Club.
Lilith Magazine wrote, “The stories in Jennifer Anne Moses’s new collection The Man Who Loved His Wife are by turn funny, sly, poignant, and intelligent. And although they range widely in tone, setting and character, they share one common trait: they are all thoroughly and profoundly Jewish.”
