Summer is upon us and the seasonal seasoning seems tasty!
We continue to have our traditional meetings, but with a few added events:
- Thursday night Torah study examines the founding of Israel and some parsha discussion over Zoon (led by Rabbi Denis Beck-Berman),
- Friday night and select Saturday morning services are both on Zoom and in-person, and
- Our Federation-sponsored Children’s Awesome Service Experience (CASE) continues to run in-parallel with adult Saturday services.
June’s highlight is the Men’s Club and the Membership and Education committee’s co-sponsoring a revised Dinner+Havdallah+Movie nights. See above – a pre-pandemic photo from last year with Brian Silver, Amy Blumenthal, David Goldstein and our dear departed Larry Katz, at the Havdallah movie night.
To promote fellowship and dialogue, the family-friendly video selections include themed clips with discussion points for examination over the meal.
