Our sincere thanks to everyone who made our Hanukkah Party possible: Diversity Richmond, for sponsoring our event; Gather, for providing us a venue; the Kehillah-La’s, for putting together and performing beautiful music; our volunteers, for donating their time before, during, and after the event; and everyone who donated funds to make this open and inclusive event possible. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
We hope to see you at our January events:
Jewish Learning Café (January 17, 6–8 p.m.): Explore (and debate!) Jewish ideas about life in our adult education series. New topics are discussed at every session (this month’s topic TBA), from complex questions about God to creating a more loving world. This series is open to anyone aged 13+ who is Jewish, wants to be Jewish, loves a Jewish person, or is just a little “Jewcurious”. No Jewish knowledge or experience required. Light refreshments will be provided, sponsored by our friends at NCEJ. Free entry, but please RSVP through Eventbrite!
Shabbat Service & Bagel Brunch (January 28, 10 a.m.–noon.): Tired of night driving? Join us for Shabbat morning! We’re hosting a combined Shabbat morning service and Torah study, including a scrumptious bagel and lox brunch. No Jewish or Hebrew experience necessary. Interfaith and family friendly. All are welcome, but childcare is not provided. Tickets are $19/person for your dinner and drinks (price adjusted for fees). Free tickets for those under 18! Get tickets through Eventbrite.
