Surrounded by Holocaust Survivor Halina Zimm, RTA students, Commonwealth elected officials and special guests, Gov. Glenn Youngkin signed historic legislation adopting the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s working definition of antisemitism into Virginia law on May 9.
(ABOVE) Gov. Glenn Youngkin also presented a Proclamation to Halina Zimm declaring Jewish American Heritage Month in the Commonwealth.
The special ceremony was held outside the Governor’s Executive Mansion at the Capitol.
