September will be a busy month!

Kehillah will have four public services for the High Holidays at Gather’s Short Pump location, sponsored by Diversity Richmond and Flour Girl Bakery. We offer a fun and meaningful alternative to traditional synagogue services, with an interfaith- and family friendly atmosphere. All are welcome!

  • Erev Rosh Hashanah Musical Service: September 15 at 6 p.m.
  • Rosh Hashanah Musical Service: September 16 at 10 a.m.
  • Kol Nidre Musical Service: September 24 at 7 p.m.
  • Yom Kippur Yizkor-Neilah Musical Service: September 25 at 6 p.m.

Services include meaningful musical prayers led by Rebbetzin Stefanie with accompaniment by Robin Rio, and learner- and seeker-friendly teachings by Rabbi Patrick; no Hebrew experience required! Free RSVP: www.eventbrite.com/o/kehillah-6200085909.

Another September event:

  • VA Pridefest: Kehillah will once again have a booth at VA Pridefest September 23. We are proud to be the only Jewish presence at Pride! Free entry. Come say hi!
