The Federation held a signature Women’s Philanthropy event, the Lion Behind the Pin (LBTP), on Sept. 10.
More than 30 women attended the brunch program held in partnership with Richmond Jewish Foundation. All Lions received their LBTP box and toolkit.
The event was co-chaired by Robyn Galpern, her mother, Melanie Feldstein; Gail Plotkin, her daughters, Karen Farzad and Lisa Plotkin; and daughter-in-law, Lauren Plotkin.
Each delivered remarks along with Women’s Philanthropy Chair Jill Goldfine. Special guest speakers at the brunch were Shelley Robbins and Debbie Lazarov, both Memphis Lions and co-creators of LBTP. (pictured below)
