Jewish Community Relations Committee Chair Rob Slotnick welcomed more than 100 community members, Virginia Legislators and recently elected state officials to the Federation Legislative Breakfast on Dec. 6.
The event featured a strong bipartisan showing of local state legislators. Representatives from all of our Virginia Congressional Representatives and Senators were in attendance as well.
Other speakers included Amy Melnick-Scharf, JCRC Legislative Chair; and Debra Rodman, Federation Interim JCRC Director.
Remarks highlighted the Mission of the Federation and JCRC, updates on the War in Israel, Legislative priorities of the Federation in the 2024 General Assembly, and for Virginia Jewish Advocacy Day on Feb. 7.
