Risk It for the Brisket

On December 3, around sixty people of all ages gathered at Or Ami for the 2nd annual Risk it for the Brisket cook-off.  This year, a kugel cook-off was added to the competition.

After filling their plates with delicious food, attendees voted for their favorite brisket and kugel.  Everyone agreed that ALL of the chefs prepared delicious food, but two emerged a bit ahead of the others.

Courtney Rubin was presented with a brisket apron for her award-winning brisket, and Lisa Halberstadt donned the kugel apron in recognition of her tasty kugel.

We hope that even more people can participate and attend next year!
