Kehillah is excited to be offering its in-person events this summer in Brandermill.

“With our Shabbat dinners and Torah study in Brandermill, we are growing our reach throughout RVA. We will continue to serve Carytown, the West End, Short Pump and more,” said Rabbi Patrick Beaulier, “but it is exciting to see people are coming from the Fan to the suburbs to have Jewish community. It defies every expectation about the north and south of the river divide.”

For more information on these events and about how Kehillah can be part of your journey, go to https://kehillahrva.org.

Shabbat brings Jewish life to Brandermill as Kehillah returns to in-person events. With two Shabbat offerings, there is something for everyone! Shabbat Morning Online & In Person: Join us at 10 a.m. virtually for Shabbat morning online, or come in person to the Rabbi’s for coffee and tea as we interact with our online community.

To RSVP for July 17, go to https://kehillahrva.org/calendar. Shabbat Evening at the Rabbi’s: Indoor Shabbat dinner at 6 p.m. catered by our friends at Mezeh, followed by soulful acoustic melodies led by Robin Rio and words of inspiration with Rabbi Patrick.

All are welcome! No Kehillah or Jewish experience required. Tickets are $19/person for your dinner and drinks.

To RSVP for July 16 & 30, go to https://kehillahrva.org/calendar.

For those who need a way to unwind during the week, we have our Biweekly Virtual Happy Hour on July 13 & 27 at 7 p.m. This is an informal, just-for-fun gathering! If interested, go to https://whereby.com/kehillah the day of the event.

Our Free Grocery Cards Program has returned. There are many people who still need financial support during this difficult time, so we’re doing our part as a community by giving away $25.00 Kroger gift cards to Kehillah members (become a member for free by joining our email list at https://kehillahrva.org/subscribe). They are first come, first serve. To sign up or donate to the program, go to https://kehillahrva.org/free-grocery-cards.

We are constantly adding new events to our calendar—stay updated by joining our email list at https://kehillahrva.org/subscribe and following our Facebook and Instagram @kehillahrva.
