I would like to take a moment to thank the Richmond community and the dedicated women of our Hadassah Richmond Chapter for allowing me to serve you all as president for these past three years.
When I began my commitment as president in 2019, I had no idea what was ahead as is the case with most things in life!! I got to work with countless volunteers, a community who knew the meaning of giving, and an organization who works so hard to make Zionists out of us here in America. When COVID became our nightmare, we learned how to communicate through the unbelievable technology we are so fortunate to have.
I also need to mention the legacy my mother, Maxine Paul (obm), left me. As a believer in Hadassah, I followed in her footsteps and am proud we were the first mother and daughter in Richmond to have served as presidents.
I am not going far. I will continue to serve as the advisor/treasurer of our Hadassah chapter. I also look forward to working with our new co-presidents, Arlene Wiener and Cheri Wolff. I wish everyone only good health and a happy new year!
My best,
Leslie
