Highlighted Events
April included our elegant Second Night Passover Seder with live music by Lynn Lapidas. As our largest yearly event, a great time was had by everyone as we “broke bread” (actually matzah) in a communal reading of the Hagaddah with entertainment over the dinner.
May’s featured event is Game Day on the 22nd. Many tables will be set up with wide-ranging games, including:
- classic games (such as dominoes and checkers),
- children’s classics (with Monopoly, Chutes and Ladders),
- Jewish classics (e.g., Mahjong, bridge) and modern “Eurogames” (e.g., Settler of Catan, Carcassonne).
Even video games, such as Destiny, will be present using the Google Stadia made available by the Children’s Awesome Service Experience.
Light refreshments will be served. We expect a great time to be had by all!
