The summer is heating up at Congregation Brith Achim!

The traditional offerings are running, generally both on Zoom and in-person, as well as a few special events from June and July.

Our weekly events include:

Torah study: Thursday nights, 7:30 p.m. (on Zoom). We are continuing addressing Khazaria – the mysterious medieval Jewish empire.

Adult services: Friday nights, 7:30 p.m., 1st and 3rd Saturday mornings, 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary and on Zoom.

Children’s services (for ages 5-10): concurrent with adult Saturday services – in the BYO room and via Zoom.

Our special events feature the following. On June 15 the Congregation held its yearly congregational meeting. At the meeting Carolyn Belgrad, Doris Pegram and Beth Rafalowitz-Murray were elected to the board.

“Discussions over dinner” is planned for July 16, focusing on Hollywood’s portrayal of Judaism and the Torah.
