Shana Tova! Temple Beth-El Family High Holiday Events Galore
Kick off the school year with engaging Family High Holiday programs for families with children from birth through school-age!
All in the community are welcome to experience our High Holiday Family services and programs. Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur services will be held in the Social Hall at Temple Beth-El, 3330 Grove Ave., tickets are required.
While anyone may also request guest tickets at no charge, donations are appreciated. Tickets are required for all Adults 18 and over, for all services including family services. Numbers are limited!

Family Program Schedule
- Saturday, Sept. 16th: Rosh Hashana Family service and Birthday of the World Celebration / 9 – 10 a.m. Family Service/ 11- 11:45 a.m. activities with Birthday Cake, activities and a Rosh Hashana Mystery break-out room challenge
- Wednesday, Sept. 20th: Tashlikh at Deep Run Park. Bring a picnic dinner and environmentally friendly tahlikh items: 4:30 – 5 p.m. Holiday activities/ 5 p.m. Tashlikh service followed by dinner. Tashlikh is in lieu of Midweek classes.
- Monday, Sept. 25th: Tot and Family Yom Kippur services / 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Tot service, 11 a.m.- noon; School Family service. Students are invited back at 7 p.m. to help lead Havdallah.
- Friday, Sept. 29th: Pizza in the Hut: Activities and Sukkah decorating! Enjoy a pizza dinner with your friends – 5-6 p.m. Please register at https://www.bethelrichmond.org/event/pizza-in-the-hut-sukkah-decorating-party.html
- Saturday, Sept. 30th: Tot Shabbat in the Sukkah at Grove / 10 a.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 7th: Simchat Torah Family Celebration: Social Hall: Songs, activities, and ice-cream sundaes! 5:45 – 7 p.m.

- Wednesday, Sept. 13: Midweek Classes begin – 4:30 p.m. (Drop-off as early as 4 p.m.)
- Saturday, Sept. 16: Opening School Event: Rosh Hashana Family Service and Birthday of the World, 9:30 – 11:45 a.m.
- Wednesday, Sept. 20: Tashlikh at Deep Run Park – 4:30 p.m.
- Monday, Sept. 25: Yom Kippur Service – 9:30 and 11 a.m.
- Wednesday, Sept. 27: Midweek Hebrew
- Saturday, Sept. 30: Tot Shabbat in the Sukkah at Grove – 10 a.m.
