The Weinstein JCC is pleased to announce the reestablishment of its Leadership Development Program, following a hiatus of three years.

The program relaunched with a kick-off meeting on Oct. 5th, characterized as “A Taste of the Weinstein JCC.”

During this event, participants had the opportunity to explore different areas within the Center and engage with the JCC Senior Staff.

The primary aim of this program is to offer potential future leaders of the Weinstein JCC the necessary tools and knowledge to play a significant role in the organization’s future. The hope is that, through enhanced learning and involvement, participants will become more active at the committee level, with the prospect of making meaningful contributions both within the Center and the broader Jewish community.

This informative and interactive program will convene approximately five times between September and May, covering a range of pertinent topics, including:

  • Embracing mission and vision
  • Understanding fiscal responsibility and operations
  • Serving as a lay leader and the committee process
  • Leadership skills development
  • Telling the Weinstein JCC story

The program is under the guidance of current Board members Lynn Schwartz and Stuart Simon.

(Below/not in order) The 2023 cohort includes: Devon Barnhart, Molly Dickinson, Sadie Gary, Ashleigh Huggett, Matt Jackson, Shields Jackson, Erika Kain, Cole Kawugule, Landis Knee, Stacey Newman, Harrison Roday, Daniella Simon, KC Sledd, and Ari Weiss.
