Senior Director of Programs Leslie McGuigan talks about the various artistic exhibits showcased in the Sara D. November Art Gallery.

Dozens of Weinstein JCC supporters gathered at the Monument Avenue campus for a special donor event on Sept. 20. Board members guided the guests on a tour of the facility, stopping at some of its most vibrant and impactful spaces.

Early Childhood Director Donna Peters provides an overview of the nurturing environment in Early Childhood programs.

First, they explored Kids’ Place, a hub of energy and creativity where young minds blossom. The Sara D. November Art Gallery showcased the community’s artistic talents, reflecting the importance of cultural enrichment. They delved into the preschool, a nurturing environment where lifelong learning begins, and the fitness center, a space promoting wellness for all ages.

At each of these stops, Weinstein JCC staff members stood ready to share their insights and stories about the profound impact of their programs on the community. It was an opportunity to engage, connect, and witness firsthand how this institution is shaping lives and fostering a sense of belonging.

After the tour, CEO Orly Lewis reflected on the past year, highlighting the resilience and dedication that had carried the JCC through challenges and triumphs alike. With unwavering optimism, she then shared the agency’s priorities for the year ahead, inspiring everyone in attendance to join in the journey toward a brighter tomorrow.

In closing, the Weinstein JCC extended its deepest appreciation to all the donors who have played a pivotal role in making its mission possible. Their generosity, commitment, and support are the lifeblood of this institution, and their contributions continue to strengthen the bonds of community that the Weinstein JCC represents.

The Weinstein JCC is supported, in part by a generous annual contribution, and programing grants from the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond
