In an exciting move to boost community self-defense skills, the Weinstein JCC presents a new Krav Maga class – a renowned system developed for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
This program is designed to empower individuals quickly and effectively in various self-defense scenarios.
Krav Maga, a dynamic martial art, blends practical techniques for effective defense on both feet and the ground.
The 8-week class guarantees an immersive experience where participants will discover their power, strength, and resilience in a safe, disciplined environment.
Classes are set for Thursdays (12:15 – 1:15 p.m.) and Sundays (9-10 a.m.) from Jan. 7 to Feb. 25.
Spaces are limited, with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 participants per class.
The cost is $180 for members and $210 for non-members.
Guided by either instructor Mark Winn or his proficient team members, this class places a strong emphasis on cultivating diligence, decisiveness, and self-awareness, all essential elements for ensuring personal safety.
