The JCC is pleased to announce the return of Nick Pruden as the Youth Sports and Specialty Camps Director.

After nearly four successful years as the Sports Director at the Valley of the Sun JCC in Scottsdale, Ariz., Nick is back to bring his passion for youth and sports to the community.

Having been part of the JCC family for over 14 years, Nick’s journey began as an intern in 2006. Over the years, he held various roles and became a fixture in the community.

In 2020, Nick left as the Sports, Recreation, and Specialty Camps Director, but is now back to lead the Jr. NBA programs, teach weekly Preschool P.E classes, and oversee all extracurricular Sports and Rec programs.

This summer, he will also take on the role of Specialty Camps Director.

Nick’s dedication extends beyond the JCC as the former Maccabi Games Team Richmond delegation head. His wealth of experience makes him the perfect leader for the youth programs.

Under his guidance, Jr. NBA participants will focus on basketball fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development, and, most importantly, having FUN!

The season kicks off with skills evaluations to form well-matched teams. Every week, Nick and Pro Skills Basketball coaches will lead practices and scrimmages, creating a dynamic learning environment.

Each young athlete will receive their NBA team jersey, adding an extra layer of excitement to this fantastic program.

To register your preschooler through 5th grader for the winter session of Jr. NBA being offered Jan. 7-Feb. 25, visit weinsteinjcc.org.

The JCC is delighted to have Nick back, bringing his expertise and love for sports to inspire and engage the community’s youth.
