The Weinstein JCC is excited to host journalist and author, Dahlia Lithwick, as part of the Adolf-Adams JCC Forum on Thursday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m.

The evening’s discussion will focus on the U.S. Supreme Court: What’s Happened and What’s to Come from one of our nation’s foremost legal commentators.

The Adolf-Adams JCC Forum, an annual signature event of the Arts + Ideas subscription series, has brought a wide variety of dynamic speakers and compelling topics to the community for over two decades.

This year’s event, sponsored by McGuireWoods and McGuireWoods Consulting, promises to be no different.

Dahlia Lithwick is a Canadian American lawyer, writer and journalist.  She is a senior editor at Slate, an online magazine that covers current affair, politics, and culture in the United States.

She is also currently a contributing editor at Newsweek.  Lithwick primarily writes about law and politics in the United States.  In addition, she hosts the podcast Amicus, a show about the law and the nine Supreme Court justices who interpret it for the rest of America.

Moderating the question-and-answer part of this program, will be Katie Barber, partner at McGuireWoods.   Before joining McGuireWoods, Katie clerked at every level of federal judiciary, including Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg (OBM).

New this year, limited tickets to attend the VIP reception and meet & greet with Dahlia Lithwick, sponsored by Moran Reeves & Conn, are available for additional purchase.

All attendees are invited to attend the dessert reception following the program, sponsored by Susie and Ronnie Adolf.

The Weinstein JCC is supported, in part, by a generous annual campaign contribution and programming and other grants from the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond.
