Havdalah and Hotcakes
On March 9th, over 50 Or Ami congregants and community members joined at the congregation for a brief Havdalah service, board games, and breakfast for dinner.
All proceeds benefited the Joy Kramer Religious School, and the event was held in memory of Amy Kane. Congregants enjoyed the food and fellowship, and everyone had a wonderful evening.
The Education Committee would like to thank the Social Committee and all of the other individuals who helped to make this event successful. The Education Committee looks forward to hosting this event again in the future.
Upcoming Or Ami Events
Monday, April 1: Or Ami Book Club is reading “Under Jerusalem: The Buried History of the World’s Most Contested City” by Andrew Lawler. We meet (hybrid) at 7 p.m.
For May 6, we are reading “Love and Other Impossible Pursuits” by Ayelet Waldman.
Tuesday, April 23: The Or Ami Community Seder is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
