JFS is excited to have Andy Cohen as our guest for our 175th anniversary event. JFS at 175 Live with Andy Cohen will be a night to remember.

The evening will be moderated by Jayme Swain, President and CEO of VPM.  Jayme, a veteran in the fields of broadcast, print, and digital media is well known in the Richmond area and moderated the Richmond Forum panel discussion about the Supreme Court on April 20.

Andy is an award-winning American TV host, producer, radio personality and podcaster. He is most recognized as the host of The Real Housewives franchise and the host and executive producer of Bravo’s late night talk show, “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

Born in St. Louis, Andy is Jewish, with roots in Poland, Russia, and Lithuania.

Cohen is a graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism. He started as an intern at CBS News and worked his way up into the position of senior producer for The Early Show, then produced several programs for the network.

It was in 2004 that Cohen would take his well-known position of vice president of original programing at Bravo.

Over Cohen’s career, he has also been the executive producer for the award-winning cooking competition television show, Top Chef, and hosted the revival of Love Connection. He has received a Peabody Award and is an Emmy winner for his sharp wit and bold way of storytelling.

Andy Cohen, in his spare time, has written several books that have named him a New York Times Best Seller; books such as The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look at a Shallow Year and Most Talkative: Stories from the Front Lines of Pop Culture.

Throughout his career, Cohen has always been an advocate for charitable giving and the importance of supporting organizations striving to make change.

His generosity casts a large net, from bringing immersive cinema experience to children confined to hospitals or supporting lymphatic education and research.

You can often see Andy shining a spotlight on various organizations that are close to his heart on his show “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” encouraging his viewers at home to spring into action when the needs of our communities are calling.

Today Andy Cohen spends most of his time being a dedicated father to his rambunctious son, Ben, and darling daughter, Lucy.

Cohen has two curated channels on SiriusXM, Andy Cohen’s Kiki Lounge and Radio Andy, and you can listen to him weekdays hosting “Andy Cohen Live.” You can also spot Andy cohosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage alongside longtime friend Anderson Cooper.

Please join us on Sept. 21, at the Dominion Energy Center for JFS at 175 Live with Andy Cohen.
