On Sunday Oct. 17, Congregation Beth Ahabah was happy to host a Violins of Hope concert.
The event was one of six special concerts held in the community and was co-sponsored by the Virginia Holocaust Museum, the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, and the Black History Museum and Culture. Nearly 300 people entered the historic sanctuary and were moved by the multimedia musical performance.
Generations ago, Beth Ahabah congregants built the lovely sanctuary and today’s congregation is delighted to share its beautiful facilities in partnership with other local non-profit organizations.
On Nov. 2 and 4, the congregation partnered with the Branch Museum of Architecture and Design to present a webinar series entitled Beth Ahabah: The Genesis of Two Magnificent Structures, recordings of which will be available for viewing on both websites.
Also, for the seventh year, Beth Ahabah is happy to host Bridging RVA’s yearly Christmas Dinner.
