JCC Golf Tournament raises over $35,000 for programs and scholarships

Belmont Golf Course, June 6 – The Weinstein JCC Golf Tournament, held at Belmont Golf Course, proved to be a remarkable success, raising over $35,000 in support of the Center’s programs and scholarships.

Golf enthusiasts gathered to showcase their skills and engage in friendly competition, participating in thrilling hole contests and vying for a chance to win an enticing $5,000 cash prize for a hole-in-one. The day was filled with camaraderie and excitement as golfers enjoyed the picturesque course.

The tournament’s pinnacle moment arrived during the reception, where the prestigious Gene Ladin Award was presented to the tournament’s overall winners: Daniel Crowder, John Forehand, Allen Hurt, and Nathan Kirchgessner from Old Dominion Mechanical. Their exceptional performance throughout the tournament earned them well-deserved recognition.

The tournament’s success was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the golf committee, who tirelessly worked to ensure a seamless and enjoyable event.
