The Weinstein JCC is proud to host the breathtaking glassworks of acclaimed Jewish artist Neil Duman, extending the exhibit through March 2024.

Duman’s vibrant creations grace the front lobby’s display cases, offering viewers a glimpse into his masterful technique and artistic vision.

A native of Baltimore and Virginia-based artist, Duman honed his craft at the Maryland Institute of Fine Art and Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in glass and metal in 1977. His fascination with the medium’s fluidity and transformative properties is evident in every piece.

All showcased blown glass artworks are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting cultural arts initiatives at the Center.

In addition to Duman’s display, the Sara D. November Gallery will unveil the “Left Brain/Right Brain: Intersection” exhibit on March 7 at 7 p.m. This invitational curated showcase celebrates the synergy between creativity and analytical thinking, featuring the works of esteemed science-minded professionals who are also artists.

Exhibiting artists include Ann S. Fulcher, MD; Scott Morese, RN; Carl Patow, MD; Deborah Pollack, MD; Patricia Rohrer, RN, MSN; and Karen Roodman, MS, CPT. The exhibit will run from March 7 to May 2, 2024, and is open to the public. (See several photos)
