COVID-19 caused last year’s Richmond Jewish Food Festival to be cancelled. People begged and pleaded for our brisket, our matzah ball soup, our Bubbie’s Bakery specialties – even if it was take-out only – but it was not to be.

But this year we’re back – in a restricted way – to help those suffering from stuffed cabbage deprivation and other issues.

The 2022 Richmond Jewish Food Festival will be a one-day, take-home heat ’n eat event. On Sunday, Jan. 16 from 11 a.m. -7 p.m., Jewish food lovers can once again enjoy our kugels and other tasty delights.

Starting the week before the festival, customers should place their orders and pay at RichmondJewishFoodFestival.com, then drive to the Weinstein JCC parking lot, 5403 Monument Ave., on festival day.

There they’ll be greeted by festival volunteers, directed to a waiting area in the lot, and in minutes their refrigerated order will be brought to them. All that’s left to do is take it home, heat ’n eat.

Those who can’t order online may drive to the Weinstein JCC parking lot on festival day, where volunteers will be able to take their orders. Payment will be via credit- or debit-card or via online payment; no cash will be accepted.

We hope to return to a full-blown Richmond Jewish Food Festival next year, but in the meantime, we’re delighted to be offering classic Jewish cuisine for your enjoyment once again!

Visit RichmondJewishFoodFestival.com for menus, ordering, and to find everything else about the festival.

The 2022 Richmond Jewish Food Festival is sponsored by Weinstein Properties, Weinstein JCC, Designer Deliveries and the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond.
