Belmont Golf Course was the place to be on Tuesday, June 7, as golfers gathered for the Weinstein JCC Golf Tournament!

The weather was picture perfect for a morning of friendly competition in honor of the Weinstein JCC’s 75th anniversary. All proceeds from the event benefit programs guided by Jewish values at the Weinstein JCC.

Golfers brought their A-game as they competed in hole contests at each hole, including a $7,500 cash prize for a hole-in-one. The day concluded with a reception on the patio and awarding the Gene Ladin Award for the overall tournament winner.

The Gene Ladin Award, a glimmering trophy cup, is named in honor of longtime supporter and inaugural golf committee member Gene Ladin.

The trophy cup is engraved with the winning team’s name and sits at the Weinstein JCC check-in desk for all to see. This year’s winners hailed from Page Auto Group: Brandon Stokes, Tim Shanley, Chris Dvorak and Mark Stigall. Congrats to the winners!

This event would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the golf committee: Ronnie Adolf, Susie Adolf, Ann Eisenberg, Brian Lynn, Bruce Perretz and Nathan Shor.

Special thanks to our event sponsors: Mary and Bruce Perretz, Weinstein Properties, Page Auto Group, Williams Mullen, Beth Sholom Senior Living, S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. and Richmond Jewish Foundation.

The Weinstein JCC is supported, in part, by a generous annual contribution, and programming grants from the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond.
