Feb. 5 – Dr. Peter L. Goodman, retired Gastroenterologist. “New Thoughts on the Problem of Obesity.” This is a topic that affects everyone! Peter is a long-time 5400 Club member. In-Person and via Zoom.

Feb. 12Stories From the Frontline in Israel. Speakers will be several community members who traveled to Israel in January on a special four-day Federation Mission. Watch for more details. Speakers at 12:30 p.m.

Feb. 19EnRich for Life.  Elizabeth B. White, co-author, The Counterfeit CountessThe Jewish Woman who rescued thousands of Poles during the Holocaust.

The program will also include moderator Dr. Michelle Kahn from the University of Richmond. Book signing after the program.

Feb. 26-  Pamela Wiegardt. “How Title IX Transformed Women’s Sports.” Dr. Wiegardt brings a unique perspective to how Title IX revolutionized women’s sports. Pam experienced – as an athlete and as a coach – the legal battles for gender equity on the competitive playing field.

She is a retired professor from the Education School at Virginia Commonwealth University.
