On Dec. 13, Beth Sholom closed our 2022 Nosh & Knowledge season with an in-person presentation on the Myths & Misconceptions About Hospice.
Jo Anne Seidner, CEO of Kirva Hospice, delivered a wonderful presentation to our guests — detailing information on hospice and addressing questions from the audience about misconceptions surrounding this service.
Kirva Hospice is a new joint venture between Beth Sholom Senior Living and Jewish Family Services and is built on the foundational values and traditions of Judaism. “Family and community are a priority as we deliver the gift of hospice to patients with life limiting illnesses.” said Jo Anne Seidner
The service embraces a multicultural and diverse population as they welcome all patients in an inclusive manner, regardless of race, religion, age, ability, or sexual orientation.
Beth Sholom plans to host another program with Kirva Hospice in early spring. Details to come.
